The desire for good health is a personal need of everyone. And ministering to the health needs of others will often be an entering wedge for the gospel, as prejudice is broken down. The following booklet, created by the Sabbath School and Personal Ministries department, gives some practical keys to Health Evangelism and how to get started in your local church!
In the book Ministry of Healing we are told, “Christ’s method alone will give true success in reaching the people. The Saviour mingled with men as one who desired their good. He showed His sympathy for them, ministered to their needs, and won their confidence. Then He bade them, 'Follow Me' ” (p.143). Happy Sabbath Praise
Remember, Jesus has been wounded that by His stripes we might be healed! This week our “Happy Sabbath Praise” Scripture song is titled “Is Anyone Among You Suffering” and is based on James 5:13-16.
