O sing unto the Lord a new song; for he hath done marvellous things: his right hand, and his holy arm, hath gotten him the victory.
2 The Lord hath made known his salvation: his righteousness hath he openly shewed in the sight of the heathen.
3 He hath remembered his mercy and his truth toward the house of Israel: all the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.
4 Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all the earth: make a loud noise, and rejoice, and sing praise.
5 Sing unto the Lord with the harp; with the harp, and the voice of a psalm.
6 With trumpets and sound of cornet make a joyful noise before the Lord, the King.
7 Let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.
8 Let the floods clap their hands: let the hills be joyful together
9 Before the Lord; for he cometh to judge the earth: with righteousness shall he judge the world, and the people with equity.
When overwhelmed with the goodness of God, express it in a fresh way. In God’s new acts, He shows himself to be attentive, loving, faithful, caring, and extravagant. Say it out loud, to the Lord and as a testimony.
God has accomplished the unimaginable, for us! Again! In a powerful way.
Color the praise as powerful, bright, inspiring, and confident, highlighted with fanfares, contrasted with beautiful heartwarming melody. Express overwhelming gratitude. Our amazing God has come through again!
And respond! Sing and shout! A wild ovation for a masterful performance, a stunning achievement.
“The very stones would cry out.” Praise from the entire living population is not enough for the glory that is due to this amazing God. The whole of creation is needed. Not just the mighty sea, but every single creature in it. Not just our neighborhood, but the entire world. The roar of a rushing river will serve as thundering applause. Can mountains sing? Why not? Let the response be full of joy, enthusiastic and unapologetic!
I’ll lay my future in your hands, God. You can do it and I trust you. If God is for us, who can be against us? Let our praise be heard!
